Helpful Tips to Avoiding Car Accidents this Winter Season
January 3, 2011
Many car accidents are caused by reckless driving, people simply not paying attention to the road. During the winter months in many places people have to deal with snow and ice. In Florida we do not deal with the same weather conditions, but there are still some things you can do to your car to help prevent accidents during the winter months.
A few things that will help your car stay in good shape during the winter months are: check your batteries, check the owner’s manual for the recommended grade of oil, and check the antifreeze/coolant for a 50-50 mixture.
Also, make sure you have an emergency kit in your car; you never know when you may need one.
It’s always important to take good care of your car, but it’s also important to make sure you are safe and driving a safe vehicle is just one step you can take to avoiding a car accident or injury.
